How can my great grandmother have skin cancer when she is only 93? I really don't understand and it's hard for me to understand this. She was diagnosed with skin cancer since July 2011. Is it really necessary to have skin cancer at age 93?? It's not going too well for her and she is now in a nursing home because of skin cancer. This frustrates me the most and she lives about 4 hours away from me. I just miss her dearly and I don't understand how she can be in a nursing home over skin cancer. Sorry for venting.....

" Can you keep her at home or your parents and help her go on with her medical care? This way she is not in a nursing home and you can feel better.
I am sorry for your grandmother. "

" I am very sorry about your great grandmother! But try to look at the bright side - she has lived 93 (!) unique and wonderful years! All should be grateful for that! No all of us are able to live such long life.
My prayers go to her! "
