leaking out into the day, slipping I fall
into the gray of the thinking pain
that washes into my chest, I fear

When I am in the dark, the real dark, not the scare yourself, something may be there dark, the real dark.
When there are piercings in yourself that take your breath away that come and go like a spark.

A game of pretend.
That's what my life is.

It see's me as I really am.
It's wanting me to hide.

I've given up.
No more lies, no more hiding.
Too much at one time has finally taken over.
I cut and don't feel, I cry but no tears, I look and don't see.
I am done, I am numb, I have become blind.
I walk each day, as routine as any other.
Though I no longer pretend.
I let my cuts show.
I no longer need to fake a smile or say "im good".
