I do. I've had high bp since the birth of my 1st child in 05. Chronic high bp at a young age is in my family though so I'm not sure if it's related.

I do, and have had very high blood pressure for about 10 years now. I have it controlled with a combination of medications. I take Avalide, Toprol XL, Norvasc, and Lasix. These have created a balance that now keeps the BP at a normal 120/80 most of the time. It's a lot of pills to take, but I am glad they finally found a balance that works for me.....it took a few years to get it right!
What are you doing about yours, I hope you are treating it!

I also have high bp. Never had it until I went through the changes. Actually mine was always low. I think it is hormone related. Not sure if it related to SS.

I've had high blood pressure for 5 years, about 3 years before the onset of Sjogren's. I was found to have obstructive sleep apnea 2 weeks ago. I'm pretty sure that I've had sleep apnea for decades because I never woke up feeling rested until I recently started using my CPAP machine. There is a strong connection between sleep apnea and the development of high blood pressure. BTW, I am thin and very active--not fitting the usual profile for sleep apnea, nor high blood pressure, which is why doctors ignored my sleep issues and blood pressure complaints for years.

Hi. I also have high blood pressure and it has just came on the last couple of years. I always had blood pressure on the low side all my life... sometimes so low it was hard to measure. Anyway, another thing to chalk up to heading into the "golden years"... yeah right, golden.

Some of your meds could be causing an increase in your blood pressure.
