I had a few glands removed a few weeks ago actually about a month ago and I still feel a bump where it was done... is that normal? I need to schedule my follow up appointment and I hope this bump doesnt stay because it gets caught on my teeth when I make certain expressions! I am wondering if it is the other glands just swelled up or if it is scar tissue! any input? I can roll my finger over it and it is a pretty big bump :( it better not stay like this because it is very annoying!

Are you wanting more people to comment on this? Just wondering since I replied when you asked on 10/04/09 "for those of you who had biposies..." I think it's the same question.

I understand about the fatigue and "fog". I just wasn't sure if you saw my previous reply and wanted more opinions before you saw your doctor. I remember that on another website I saw where someone had a different experience than mine. Like I said, my bump gradually disappeared after a few months, but that person said she still had one after several years. I guess it just depends on the individual (and the surgeon).

I got my lip biopsy about 6 days ago, so I guess I shouldn't be worrying about my "bump" just yet. It's still sore, and it feels like I got slugged in the mouth (although I've never been slugged in the mouth). The stitches fell out yesterday. (I guess I ate them?)
The results were positive for Sjogren's Syndrome. Haven't seen the doc yet. Don't have the results back yet for the ANAs. Kind of doubt he'll do anything about it if the ANAs are still in normal range. He's nice, but very slow to treat unless the blood labs come back positive. Got a sleep test last week and found I have severe sleep apnea (waking up 40 times an hour). So now I have a cpap machine. So far, so good. Getting used to the mask and tubing, but that's okay because I'm glad to finally sleep after all these years.
