" I've taken Mobic for the last couple of years but have just been switched to Celebrex. Not sure that it's any better. Taken it for a month and just refilled it today. I'll give it another month and if it's not a lot better, I'll ask to switch back. Mobic has a generic and it's cheaper. No use paying more if I can't notice a difference. "

" I am taking pain meds, but I started them for Guillain Barre dx. I assumed my pain - joint pain in back and knees and nerve pain from knees down and elbows down - was due to Guillain Barre.

What kind of pain do people with SS have? I am recently dx with SS and I don't know what to assign to which autoimmune illness.

Oh, the pain meds are a Butrans pain patch and gabapentin. "

" I have Sjogren's and lupus. I take oxycodone for pain maintenance and either xanax or klonopin for sleep. I also have medical marijuana for once I am at home in the late afternoons and not going anywhere. It REALLY helps the most. I take one 10mg oxycodone in the morning and one around 2:30. I exercise (if I can ,,,,3 mile walk,,,) around 6ish. "

" On top of my SS meds, I sometimes take one Naproxen at night to prevent morning stiffness or 600 - 1000 mg of ibuprofen for more intense pain during the day. Take them separately. Also, be careful not to stay on them for too long as they can affect your kidneys. "
