missing those that are gone, that is all
feelings, sneaking up are not fair
leaking out into the day, slipping I fall
into the gray of the thinking pain
that washes into my chest, I fear
there I will stand revealed ,the real me
that the strength I pretend will disappear

When I am in the dark, the real dark, not the scare yourself, something may be there dark, the real dark.
When there are piercings in yourself that take your breath away that come and go like a spark.
When the spinning wheel in my mind goes off it's spindle; and rolls ribbons of visions into a pile,

Hello journal...
I have a headache
I'm shaky
My eyes hurt
I just want to go lay down
My throat hurts from my VNS, it hurts when I swallow.
I'm having a 'flare' of my mixed connective tissue disease.
I was doing so much better, could get out of bed on my own.
I'm sweating
My sugar is going low.
There isn't anyone I know that has the same illnesses as me.

A reminder that clouds can have silver linings! I heard this on the radio one morning, and really liked the last two lines. After some googling I identified the poem as "One Foot in Eden" by Edwin Muir
