Hey guys. I know I have disappeared for a while and I am so sorry for not keeping up with your journals like I'd like. I was feeling rather depressed for some time and when that happens I tend to shut down and not want to communicate with anyone. Then when I thought things couldn't get any worse, they really did. I know it seems impossible for February, But I have two apple trees and they are in full bloom so pretty. I took some pictures I will up load later.
Captain is now all cut and bathed and stinkin pretty. So was Pocket but he spent the night out with his 'big' brothers and the stink pretty is gone!

missing those that are gone, that is all
feelings, sneaking up are not fair
leaking out into the day, slipping I fall
into the gray of the thinking pain
that washes into my chest, I fear
there I will stand revealed ,the real me
that the strength I pretend will disappear

When I am in the dark, the real dark, not the scare yourself, something may be there dark, the real dark.
When there are piercings in yourself that take your breath away that come and go like a spark.
When the spinning wheel in my mind goes off it's spindle; and rolls ribbons of visions into a pile,
there and there another thought not extinguished by the meds, just foggy in the trial.

A reminder that clouds can have silver linings! I heard this on the radio one morning, and really liked the last two lines. After some googling I identified the poem as "One Foot in Eden" by Edwin Muir
But famished field and blackened tree
Bear flowers in Eden never known.
Blossoms of grief and charity
