Hi. I am a fairly recent father. My daughter was born in May. The mother and I had broken up many months before even then.
She and our daughter are in another city, just to make things more complicated. And I only get to visit my daughter every 3rd weekend. I am not even quite sure what to say, this is pretty much my first attempt to reach out to others on this topic, I don't even talk to my friends or family much about parenting or my situation, and I realise that keeping all this inside and also trying to figure out the legal stuff on my own is only going to lead to trouble. Wow tough one, being so distant and only getting to see her once every 3rd weekend is going to be really tough on you and her as she gets older. Hang in there, no matter how little you get to see her, she will know your her dad and no one will/can ever take that away. Good luck
