I just found out that the father to my two children is in jail
again. armed robbery this time. he hasnt been in the picture but I am looking for some advice on if I should let me kids know that he is in jail? If they find out and it's from me not a different family member it might be easier. any thoughts? Posted on 10/20/09, 12:10 am |

I think you sit them down and explain to them about where dad is. I would tell them because if a family member or a cousin tells them its going to hurt them. My kid later found out that I had to do week-ends in jail for a ticket. All is good because they are old enough to understand. Tell so they understand and its not their fault.
