Short Stature Support Group

I agree, seems like the forums in the groups that i participate in are kinda quiet, but seems like people mostly communicate thru hugs, messages, and journal comments, which is perfectly fine. Seems like the forums are just used to ask questions or advice. -just my observation.

I'm sorry lilstubby, I'm seriously laughing my ass off right now because of your avitar. Quite honestly, I wasn't expecting the first response to come from someone with a profile pic like yours, and the name "lilstubby " that couldn't be more appropriate to fit what's going on here. I had to even take a coffee break while typing this to wear off the laughter. Just laugh with me lilstubby, it's healthy. Besides, I'm short too. But, you absolutely made my day right now. Too funny.
Yeah, lilshorty, something's gotta give in this group. Wanna help me LIVEN it up a bit? I'm an artist which means I'm pretty creative. Do you have any special talents that you can help assist me in waking up munchkin land?

I tell you what, how about if I start recruiting active members on the main circuit board(home-page) and see if we can get some action goin here? I'm thinking because I'm 5'6, we should make that the cut-off. Anyone over can't qualify to be in our group.lol
I figure we can have an ambiguous approach about it too. For example: You're giving a hug to someone with Bipolar disorder, and as you're comforting them, you end the note with.."by the way, how tall are you?" I mean, that's not exactly ambiguous-a little too straight forward, but you get the idea. So, let's get busy dude, we need to make some noise in this dead group here.

Well, I haven't been on vacation, just new to this site and support group. I never knew this group existed. I tried to join the "Little People of America" but was rejected because I am not a dwarf, just short. Even though this is a very traumatic time in my life, I just lost my husband to a motorcycle accident, I still have a sense of humor and can laugh at myself. So I hope I can give, as well as receive, from this group.

It seems as if there is no support at all in this group :(. I would like to hear people's stories and give my feedback, but there are never any stories.

Well Memis, That's why I'm here now. That's right, Toddio is here to over-throw the short-stature comity because there not doing a good job at managing the group.LOL
So, hang in there lil' buckaroo, Toddio and my good buddy lilstubby are now the official short-stature administrators and will make sure your stories are heard and validated. And if it's stories and feedback you want, OH BOY, be careful what you wish for Memis.LOl
