I hate places like Target, they don't seem to consider the fact the small statured adults also shop here, I saw popcorn on a top shelf yesterday and was determined to get it so I attempted to climb the shelving (there were no accociates around) and the result wasn't so good I collaped some of the bottom shelves & embarrased I walked off. Has this happened to anyone else? Also, if business are required to be wheelchair accessable then why can't they also be LP accessable & provide things like foot stools or seat cushion in movie theatres and not those humiliating booster seats...

Ohh, I am hearing that!!!!
In such a situation, I absolutely refuse to ask for any help at all...I am not 6years old!!!!!! (Unless the person standing next to me is realllly cute...hahaha) I usually climb the shelves. If stuff falls down...screw them, that is the store's responsibility. What really pisses me off is that when one goes into the alleged 'petite' section in clothes stores (the proportions are still all wrong!!) the shelves are still too high. These clothes are made for us, hence the word, petite!!!!

By right, they should have something. Or just get a stool from the shoe department, it works! Have you seen the steps for short people with the stick on the end of them? Those help too. because i get werry of standing on stuff because its too narrow and too flimsy and i might fall through it.

There really should be higher step stools in stores so we don't have to find someone to reach things for us.
