This is an excellent book for breaking any kind of bad habit. In easy language and with funny parts, it helps break down all the parts of bad habits and addictions. It teaches you how to deal with each one.

PART I discusses the types of bad habits, cravings, and compulsions.

PART II discusses the steps to prepare you to stop the bad habit, and what to expect as you stop it.

PART III discusses how to resist cravings (mostly for alcohol, nicotine, caffeine, and food).

PART IV discusses the habit in relationships with other people, procrastination, and commitment.

PART V discusses compulsions, and has a section on spending too much!

PART VI discusses others having bad habits, therapy, and changing.

An appendix gives more resources, including one for Financial Support, and a Glossary defines words used in the text. There is also a complete index.

This is an excellent book to use, to help you with compulsive shopping!
