I had shingles on my forehead almost 3 years ago. About a week ago, in the same area I had shingles in, I got one little "pimple" type bump, but it got a little larger, and is itchy. It LOOKS like my shingles bumps looked, but there's just this one bump. The rest of my skin is clear as a bell. It's not a huge patch or anything, just sort of like a large pimple would be, but it doesn't feel like a pimple, it feels like a shingle! Is this even possible? I thought you could only get shingles once?

I know everyone talks about the horrible rash etc but I had three (3) bumps which was shingles. I have now had it for the third time and the last time has lasted for 3 years. It is now called PHN (post herpitneuralgia) (sp). Anyway the bumps go away but the pain stays sometimes and yes you can get it more than once.
