I was affected over left upper half of my face and scalp, around and in the left eye. It seems to me in doing research a lot of people with shingles in this exact area have a lot of problems. I also wonder if I am just focusing more on that area since that is where I have it, so out of curiosity I am asking for an informal poll as to where you had shingles, how long it lasted, and what (if any) complications you have. Thank you!

MY WONERFULL SHINGLES ARE ON THE LEFT SIDE RUNING TO THE SPINE. ONE BIG SPOT ON TUMMY. THE PAIN IS REAL TOUGH. THEY HAVE ALL BUT HEALED OVER EXCEPT FOR THE ON TUMMY. THE PAIN HAS GOTTEN BETTER IF YOU CAN SAY BETTER ABOUT PAIN.THIS KIND IS BOTH STABBING, SHOOTING.OH, I WOULD NOT WISH THIS ON ANYONE BUT THE DEVIL HIMSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mine is on my back on the upper middle right side and goes around to the front. The pain was the worst when I had the rash...that started
the first week of August.. the pain hasn't gone away.
