Wart?

I've never had any problem with warts or anything like that before. About a week ago I noticed a small bump on my penis. It didn't really hurt or itch and It looked like a wart so that's what I assumed it was. It wouldn't go away so I bought a wart remover with salicylic acid from my grocery store. I put it on and let it dry, just like the directions said. When I washed it off the whole area where I put the wart remover was purple like a bruise. This is really annoying especially because I will be home alone this weekend and my girlfriend is driving 2 hours to see me and it will all be ruined by this stupid thing. Has anyone experienced this when using wart remover? Anyone have any idea why this happened?

" Ummm.....You put regular wart remover on the most sensitive part of your body?

Do you think it might have been wise to consult your doctor or at least a pharmacist before you did so?

I'm sorry I'm stabbing. You just remind me of this guy in my high school maths class who put deep heat on his testicles once. He learned his lesson.

Anyway, your best bet is to probably just live with it. It sounds like a chemical burn, and your best bet is to let it go on it's own. I'm sorry to hear that your girlfriend is driving for two hours just to come and see you. That sucks.

I myself am presently in a long distance relationship...well, kind of. She went on holiday with her family overseas for a month and a half, so I understand that you want to be at your absolute peak when you see her, but chemical burns are like sunburns.....probably have a chat to your doc about some kind of soothing cream that will speed up the healing process. Who knows, you might be back to normal by the weekend. "
