I was diagnosed with hsv2 back in 1996. I still struggle with the negative feelings about having it and I am still not able to forgive my ex.
Usually I get an OB once or twice a year.....well this past month I have got an OB 3 times and I don't know what to think. I am deathly afraid to go to the doctor to discover something else is wrong - I have fatalistic thinking and fear it HIV.....but my partners in the past have been clean. I'm not sure if I am still run down with having a baby a few months ago.... I'm not sure if a change in OBs are a normal thing or not..... Posted on 11/03/09, 08:11 am |

I think hormonal changes and diet can affect the number of times you have an outbreak.. Thank god for Valtrex, it's actually pretty good for supression.

I have HSV1 but I get an outbreak about once every 3 or 4 months. I decided to stop taking valtrex because it was screwing with my vision. I don't like the idea of having to not only rely on a stupid pill but it costs like $130 a bottle after my insurance. I did get some acyclovir too but never took it. After doing the resolve detox I still got an outbreak, I was pissed. So I started looking for other answers. There is a really great hub if you google resolve herpes hub where people talk about what they are doing to control or cure themselves. Resolve did a lot for my immune system but some one told me about Monolaurin, it works with your immune system and basically removes the protective coating around your cells to allow your immune system to kill the virus. While boosting your immune system and trying MMS (miracle mineral solutions) and monolaurin should help decrease if not cure you of outbreaks. It's all natural and you take one pill at night for the first week, then two the second week, three the third and then 4 the fourth week and on. Then consistantly take 4 pills a night 1200mg for about five or six months. I didn't take it that long but next month I should have an outbreak so we will see if it's had any affect. Not to mention I've been going to the gym and chiropractor to help fix all the other problems in my body that didn't allow it to function properly. If you can find natural ways of helping yourself ALWAYS do that before taking a pill. Good luck
