I know its bad, I was told when I was 17 that I have HPV. It completely sucks. Being 19 now, I feel better about it, and just take it as a lesson of trust with people. Because you never really know.
Just be careful and take care of yourself, Its really all you can do, and trust me, you will feel better about it.

I've had warts for about 8 1/2 months now...they have not completely gone away. my dr. says take vitamins and do whatever you can to keep your immune system up...for me, it's getting enough sleep....I've had them removed like 3 times and they keep coming back...just make sure you DO NOT scratch them, I know it itched but it spreads it, if you can get rid of them all then it's less likely they will come back. they say HPV clears your system in 2 years and although the virus can be in your system you may never have symptoms again, but you need to take care of yourself...they say if you get rid of them and don't get any for quite some time, you're just as likely to get them again as it is for some one to become infected to begin with....hang in there, it's hard right now but once you get it under control you'll feel a lot better and continue to be in control of your life and the virus...

Remember to keep up a good immune system. I had to have the cryosurgery done to clear up those on the inside, but the outside I cleared up my own with applecider vinegar. I really worked, I was amazed. I will admit it burned,but cleared them up in no time and now I am taking the applecider vinegar tablets to keep in my system They say it is good for alot of ailments. Wish you the best and it will be okay. One day at a time.

If it makes you feel any better they say that around 80% of people get HPV at some point in their lifetime, most of the time they clear up and people never know they have them. It's the most common STD I do believe. Your body will fight it off in time, it's really not something to freak out about, plus you can get them even with condoms so the the only way a person can be sure they'll never get them is by never having sex, and that's definately not a reasonable alternative ;) You really should be getting a pap smear every year to check for cervical cancer though, that unfortunately is something to freak out about.

It's actually 50% of ppl that get it in their lifetime, this is a subjective statistic though. Either way it's a lot of ppl.
