You know you bring up a good point. I am easily aggitated too, but I also have a lot of stress in my life. I also have depression and always worry about the side effects w/ those meds, but never thought about the side effects w/ the valtrex. Hmmm....

WOW I get so aggitated so easily, I take Valtrex 1mg, Wellbutrin 300mg, and because of so much stress they gave me Xanex I just took the 1st dosage 10 minutes ago, I'm hoping it helps with the stress which hopefully will help with the break out and then maybe I won't be depressed. GEEZ how sad does that sound, needing meds for everything.

I never took Valtrex but I felt like that without it

The only time i felt that way was when i was on valtrex treatment and on przac at the same time, it turned me into a bit of a loon. When i take valtrex now, its only a 5 day course at the time, and so i guess doesnt have much time to make me aggressive. I am currently on this 5 day course and am exeriencing head aches though.

i just started on valtrex and yea it made me depressed and its crazy i dont like feeling this way ... so someone pls tell me should i continue taking this or just take it when outbreaks occur?

tinkpink - My side effects got to the point where I didn't feel like myself at all and I was so quick to get mad about something it was actually kindof alarming! My Doc switched me to Acyclovir (Zovirax) and I am doing MUCH better. You should let your Doctor know about these side effects and see if they can switch you and also ask about going off the meds when the Herpes is dormant.
