I was able to process the event more in counseling this week. I am making progress. The assignment she gave me was to meditate on 2 Timothy 1:7, pray about it by asking Jesus how this verse specifically applies to my situation, and to write down what He shows me.

About 3:30 a.m., a guy tried to break into my apartment. He appeared drunk because his speech was slurred. I asked him who he was twice, and then he finally answered. I just found out today that my former Staff Supervisor, Christopher Lau is resigning from his position at Catholic Charities on July 31st. Today, the painters finished the last touches to my apartment on the inside frame of my door. The maintenance people unlocked all the doors. I just figured out something from the night of the rape last year, that has been in my subconscious for a long time, and I am just now remembering.
