With the economy in the current state it's in, there are a number of pseudo professionals trolling the message boards phishing for clientele.
Be very cautious of on-line referrals obtained from 'friends' through private messages. In light of recent events in Ft Hood Tx., take time to completely evaluate anyone you could end up behind a closed door with, and be especially aware of the increased dangers during this time of vulnerability in your life. Perhaps all the predatory crap that seems to be happening in here at the moment is a reminder to us all why we came here we came here looking for SUPPORT and most of us the anonanimity of it all is attractive because we are to scared to share this stuff in real life. So perhaps we all need to be a bit more cautious with our trust No offense to any one but I dont trust any one online their are only a select few in real life who I trust and It is a sad fact that their will be predators in here trying to take advantage of our vunrability and who will get off on the details. So please just be really careful who u trust it can be tempting because we dont want to feel alone so im just sticking to posts. and sadly wont be making any friends online because I just dont know who is on the other side. I am just sticking to my real life friends and building trust with them. Its a shame we cant all make further use of this support network but unfortunatly the same A** holes who take advantage of us in the real world have computers too!!!but I refuse to let myself be taken advantage of EVER AGAIN i didnt have control when I was a Kid but i do now!!!.
