" Shai is right. Did something ever happen to you when you were younger that could be triggering these thoughts? Post Traumatic Stress maybe? I have on going mind movies that play in my head of my past. Talking to someone and getting out what you are viewing can help you a lot with working through these dreams and visions you see. Maybe start by talking to your school counslor. If she recommeds you to seek more professional help then talk to your parents about that. Try to really talk through these feelings. They can be worked through. Don't just ignore them because they wont get solved that way! Maybe this site will give you some ideas. Good luck!

" clmcgaa:

You are on this site and have listed both sexual abuse and PTSD in your profile so I assume what's going is, as both Shai and emily87r suggest, your body sending your memories.

It may feel scary because the memories seem to come out of the blue, but the truth is clmcgaa, your body is letting you know it's time to heal.

Talking with a school counselor is a good first step. If that is too scary you may want to call Covenant House Nine-Line. It's a 24-hour national hot line for teens.

A live person answers the phone and just tell them you'd like to speak to someone about sexual abuse issues. Their number is 800/999-9999.

Please keep in touch and take it one little step at a time.
