New Found Hope

Hello All,
I am looking into the possibility that I have SID. I'm setting up an appointment with an OT for an eval, hopefully I can get an appt within the next year lol

I always knew I was different. Other kids didn't cry when they got caught in the rain, or recoil from a friendly pat. Other kids didn't have to cut all the tags out of thier shirts, or refuse to certain toe seamed socks.

I recently went online researching hypersensitivity so maybe I could finaly find out what's wrong with me, and more importantly, what to do about it.

Then I came across SID and went over the checklist. So many things started clicking in place and I started laughing because maybe I'm not a freak and there is hope after all.

I am already a member of DS, but I was overjoyed to find this group. So you guys get to be in on the ground floor of my discovery :)

I can't wait to get to know you all and learn from your experiences :)
