Its true, Michael Jackson was 50 years old so he just made it to be a senior citizen by some accounts.

He use to like Peter Pan and MJ said he too would never grow up, and so he dies right at the dividing age.

Long live the King - no more!

" Is there any Forum, where MJs death will not be talked about ?
Even the Trabant-Forum (Maybe you heard about that quaint Eastgerman car) is full of remarks about him!

PS: Maybe that's understandable, because he represented the foreign world of pop and glamour and everything you could not get in those socalled socialist/communist countries.

Even I enjoyed that 3-D film (I forgot the title) at Orlandos Disneyworld (or was it Universll) together with my granddaughter, I must confess. "

" Well I see MJ everywhere now on TV, and he is as interesting in death as he was in life.

But my point of posting him here on this Board was because at 50 he was one of our own - MJ was one of us.

Do not you feel the sadness too? "

" I was extremely sad and see his passing as the end of an era...one of mine anyway along with millions of others. I have always loved his upbeat ways. We have a choice in what we believe about others and their lives. "

" If he is "one of us" , then I'll go against the grain and say exclude me from the "us" part.

Granted he had talent, however, he was a pedophile (by his actions and his own remarks) and as far as I'm concerned, he should have been writing his music and recording his videos from a jail cell. "

" Oh just to add, the "King" was Elvis Presley! No one can take that title away from him. "

" Well IMHO MJ did not utter any remarks indicating he was a pedpohile. He loved children as he did not have his own childhood. He was eccentric yes, but I would be appalled if I saw any evidence of this. Everyone has their own thoughts on it. Elvis was the king yes.. I remember his death too.. same type of life and an early death...they both paid a huge price! Both gone now.. "

" Past national news and the Internet is loaded with remarks by MJ that indicate he was a pedophile. Let's not forget the payoffs to a little boys family to stay quiet to avoid charges and a second criminal case, where the family was also bought off to change their minds. The Beatles were wrong, money can buy you love, no matter with whom.

Like I said, he was a talented musician, but then, John Gacey was a talented clown! Just because he was a talented musician doesn't mean that everyone has to idolize him. I have had personal experience in dealing with a pedophile who made advances toward one of my own children. MJ's behavior towards children touches a particularly sensitive nerve with me. "

" MJ was found NOT GUILTY and he never ever admitted to be any type of pedophile and I see no sense in trying to claim that the verdict is still out when it is not.

Michael Jackson is the new KING while Elvis Presley is old school. "

" Booky, just review his quotes available for view on a number of Internet sights. There's even interview transcripts that indicate he liked (actually "loved") little boys not to mention sleeping with them.

You need to find a different title for "The King" as like I said, that one belongs to Elvis, old school or not. In my own opinion, MJ doesn't come close to comparing to Elvis as far as talent goes. Elvis may have had his issues with drugs, but MJ had issues with little boys, drugs and his own self-identity. "

" I know there are other people like you and it troubles me that you are not ashamed to preach those narrow minded opinions and unjust beliefs.

You would have believed the Court if he had been found as GUILTY, and it is only because you want MJ to be guilty even when he was shown to be not.

And MJ came from a very religious family and he did tell how he loved children (boys and girls) and MJ quoted the words of Jesus; "to let the children come..."

And he did say he slept with children but he said sleep and not sex.

And MJ did take drugs but they were not illegal narcotics. MJ had sicknesses and injuries and insomnia and he took medications not to get high but to stop his pain.

The police now call MJ's death a homicide and not a suicide.

And there is no reason that you can not keep clinging to your old school Elvis without cutting down the King of Pop.
