I thought I had it all together. I was back on top and happy and coping well...and then it just came crashing down and nothing worked.
And now I feel like a huge failure and I just ask my self why? Why can't i keep my shit together?

" triggers can happen weeks before the thinking it caused turns into feeling which end up in behavior.

who knows?

it's not something that's wrong with YOU. you are the one that wants to stop, the one that graduated college, the one that wants to succeed. IT is totally separate. you invited it in long ago when you didn't know any better, but it decided to stay long after you asked it to leave.

It's something a LOT of people have to deal with. You have to keep up on yourself on the ball, for a looooooong ass time. If meth addicts take five years to get their brain back to what it was, well, even though there isn't any foreign chemicals involved, cutting is definitely going to take a looong time to clear.

It's a coping mechanism. It's a friend. It's a dark, dreamy sick obsession. It's many things.

But it isn't YOU.

So please... try to forgive yourself, think of how long you went and that means you can go even further next time. Just don't relapse (go back into full habit, complete behavior). Just treat this as it is, a lapse (a slip, a wee lil mess up that won't go farther that it's already gotten).

Good luck dear. "

" Pluuus. Think of how weak the will actually is. I know maybe like, two, if that, people, that can handle themselves completely with will power. It's rare. It's like, a lot of people pump it up, but when it comes down to it, everyone has let their will power go out with the boats and regreted the hell out of it later. Even the normies. Gah, I hate them normies sometimes... "
