earlier to day i decided that i would cut my upper arm and to my amazement i really didnt tink that draggin the blade slowly across would not cause pain tho i got scared coz when i looked at what i did i tink i saw the next layer of skin not sure or is muscle
im a bit worried it has stopped bleedin but if i had gone further would i have cut the muscle or is it just another layer of skin under? Posted on 11/08/09, 04:11 pm |

For starters, I don't support that. Anyway, depending on the blade you used, it could have only been the next layer of skin (for instance, if you used like a shaving razor for face or legs). However, if you used a straight-edge, and depending on how hard you pressed down on it, it could have been the muscle showing.
Please make sure you clean it out thoroughly and cover it in gauze. And maybe next time you feel the need/desire to cut, snap a rubber band on your wrist, or listen to some loud music. Or even go for a run to get your adrenaline and endorphins going.
