I don't under stand why now even with the meds I just can't handdle the simple every day dutys with out losing it and wonting to cut (self injur) it is soo hard just don't know what to do anymore.
it has been a week today scince I cut I did it 5 times last week dut the new meds have helped keep me calm this week I have already picked the scabs off last weeks cuts and now I need (must) make them deeper I took the meds calmed me for a while but now fighting the earge off is killing me I don't under stand what is rong with me anymore I just can't stop cutting no matter how hard I try! I know what you're going through and there's nothing wrong with you. The meds will only go so far when stopping the urges. A lot of people still SI when they're on meds that are, in many respects, working. Just try to hold out, set a goal for yourself to go even a day or two, then go a little longer.

There is nothing wrong with you! I'm on meds also and I still get really really bad urges. How long have you been on your meds? I've been on mine for about a month and 1/2 and for the first few weeks I did a lot better but these past couple weeks have been a constant struggle! I'm here if you need someone to talk to.

I have only been on my meds for one week at this point but I take one at night (Remerom) and another (Vistaril) 3 times a day but it has helped a lot but I still can't stop the cutting I reopened the cut on my arm from last week last night after it had been a week scince I cut last night.
