I have been cutting since i was like...10 and its been my safety net. i never do it where you can see it but it hurts and leaves scares that constantly reminds me that there is something wrong with me where i cant fix it. I don't want to cut anymore. When i tell myself i will cope another way i always relapse and it only gets worse. It constantly, continuously gets worse. Help.

First step hun means trusting someone enough to let them in. Build a support group and people that can hold you accountable to the desire to quit. People that you can call when the urges come up and people that can help you work through the root cause! You can Do this hun!!!

Maybe you can go and see a counsellor or something. They might be able to find other ways of coping for you.

Hi poppings492,
I just recently found to fa good therapist. If you would like any advice, I would suggest finding someone who specializes in eating disorders, even if that isn't a problem for you. ED therapists see lots of self harm behavior, and I think they are really good at handling it (at least in my small personal sampling). Hang in there! Hugs, Xena
