I want to get a tattoo to represent what iv been through.
I don't know what to get though i want it to mean that iv been through really bad stuff and i got through it and if anything bad happened again id be able to get through that to. But i don't know anything symbolic enough i was going to get 'only god can judge me now' but i no longer believe in god and so it would be a little hypicritical to get that. Any ideas please. I got "hope" tattooed onto me because of that same reasion. Every time I look at it, it makes me smile and I know I can get through anything bad that I am feeling. Hope you find something that will make you feel the same.

I have the Egyptian Ankh on my forearm.
It is a symbol I have always loved. It has 3 stars around it, I dont know why 3, but I have a thing with that number, as well as stars. It also stops me SI'ing in that area.

I am sorry i cant help ou, but i hope you let us know what you chose. It will be interesting to find out. It is a personal thing, so if you dont share it with us thats ok too. I like the idea of butterflies, because it is something that has to go through a huge change to become truly bautiful.

I just want to get the first line - If you lost everything in a moment would you notice? It's kind of a you don't know what you've got till it's gone thing. I've had 3 major family suicides including my dad. I think that lyric is fitting. I know people get all sorts of things tattooed on them. I guess when you come across it you will know it.
