I have heard that journaling about cutting can really help. My problem is when I write it out, I either want to do it more and actually do it. Is this just a fear, or does it really help to write out your thoughts/feelings? What kinds of stuff (not trying to pry into private stuff) do you write about in your journals?

Keeping a journal can help. It doesn't work for everyone but, all u can do is try and see. There aren't rules to writing. Write whatever is on ur mind. U could pretend that ur talking to someone. Anything that u need to transfer from ur mind to paper is what u write. If journaling isn't right for u, I'm sure that everyone on here can give u other ways to vent or find relief. Hope that helps.
