Okay so my dad, my aunt and I are going swimming on thurs. but I completly forgot and I cut my wrists last night (I wear bracelets thats why on the wrists). So is there anyway I can cover the cuts, and if not what should I say if someone sees them? They are all together so it looks pretty obious that they were not an accedent.
Need Help!!!

" I dont know how old you are or what your style is but

You could where the arm warmers

or smaller the sweat bands one that matches your swimsuit

honestly the one i go for when it comes to swimming that is not very obvious... or not as obvious is a whole slew of tight hair tyes that match my swimsuit... and do it on both arms.... so that if they question why i have so many i take them off the first arm and there is nothing under neath and there is no more suspician.

hope you find a way :) "

" I don't know if they're still around, but an italian charm bracelet would work, PLUS you can use it to keep track of your recovery.
It worked wonders for me. "

" well, you could wear wrist bands or arm warmers, but your family will probably want to know why you dont take them off to go swimming.

if someone sees them im afraid the best thing to do is tell them the truth. i know its scary and embarrassing, and im sorry, but they will probably find out at some point and it would be best if they find out from you. sry. "

" make-up to help it blend in? although it might not stay on. you could wear a thick hair tie or a band around your wrist "

" Thanks for the advise! I like the hair band idea so I will try that.
About telling them...well lets just say that they are probally the last people I would want to tell.
Thanks

" Hummm Tricky, Skip swimming or invest in some make up which is long lasting foundation, you may find this helps. The other thing i have is a waterproof watch, i find this is normally enough to distract the eye away, i wear a sports one which counts laps etc but you could just wear any waterproof watch. "

" If it were me, just to be safe, I'd fake belly cramps. If you have a known chronic problem (allergies that cause headaches or something) play that up instead, and don't listen to any crap about how you'll feel better once you're in the water, etc. Just give them your best stony stare. Make it clear that no amount of "I'm disappointed in you" is going to get you into that water. Preferably not on the whole trip.

That's the way I'd go. If you can find a less tumultuous method, like wearing something around your wrists that you can get away with, go for it.

Good luck,
Meisaal "

" Well I cut and swim five times a week at county level
I cut all over so some can be passed as accident
But for my wrists
I wear the rubber charity bands
They're waterproof
So it makes more sense to wear the
