Any Advice?

So I am still bleeding from taking the cytotec to help nature along with the failed pregnancy. The official name was a blighted ovum. My doctor says I have to wait 3 months before trying again. I really dont want to take this advice because it took more than a year to get this pregnancy. I have heard some people say their doctors say they can try after a few weeks. So what is the advice on waiting? Am I being impatient? Will it cause problems if we get pregnant to soon after? I dont think it will happen given our recent history. I just dont want to make a bad decision and put myself or the next pregnancy in jeopardy, but really dont want to waste any time. Also does anyone know if a blighted ovum is a random occurance, or is it likely to happen again. So confusing and I dont have much experience with it. Thanks everyone. I really want to try and conceive soon, I need something to look forward. After losing the pregnancy, and my job, I really need something =(

" Unfortunately, the best advice is to listen to your doctor!

It may take that long for your body to recover from not only the loss, but from the drug you are taking as well.

Good Luck! :)
God Bless! "

" I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT NOT WANTING TO WATE TIME, BUT I GUESS THE BEST ADVICE IS FROM A PROFESSIONAL DOCTOR. BUT WHAT DO YOU FEEL IS BEST? SOMETIMES WE HAVE TO REALLY SEARCH WITHIN OURSELVES AND FIND THE ANSWER, NO ONE KNOWS YOU BETTER THAN YOU. ALSO IF YOU FEEL LIKE YOU THINK YOUR READY IT DOES'NT HURT TO GET A SECOND OPINION. I HOPE THIS HELPS. I AM HERE FOR YOU. WE ALL ARE. I AM SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS AS WELL. LOTS OF LUCK ON YOUR JOURNEY, AND BABY DUST TO YOU.! "

" Well, this is a hard one my dear. I went through the same thing earlier this year. In fact, that was the straw ( so to speak) that made me join this group. My doc sid the same thing. As I am soooooooo hard headed, I did not listen. But, it took me that long to conceive again anyway. Unfortunately, that was a loss too. I'm just saying that although you really want advice right now, you are the ONLY one who can decide what is right for you. Sorry. I know that probably doesn't help. Best of luck to you. You know I'm here if you need anything. I will keep you in my prayers. "

" After my ectopic pregnancy the doctor told us to wait 3 months to try again. I didn't listen to him and we started trying again straight away. And 10 months after I am still trying. I think you know your own body best and what you feel is best for you.

I'm so sorry about your lossx "
