Went to our last visit at the RE, it was exciting and a little emotional. We have been working with them for almost a year, you get attached....They did a sono, and the twins looked great. One was moving around and doing little "crunches" Heart rates were around 178. I feel pretty good, a little queasy if I dont eat, but when I do eat I can only take a few bites and Im full or jus...

Hey Everyone
Well, long time no speak!
I was rushed into hospital and admitted on Sat 23rd Oct. With OHSS, a very serious case of it. I was dangerously dehydrated / bloated / violently vomiting non stop, wasnt drinking or eating etc etc. Since being in hospital I have also developed terrible fluid build up everywhere and some blood clotting.

Another backlash I'm a bit wobbly at the moment. I am having an emotional backlash I think around delaying our adoption plans.
I chaired the second infertility support group meeting last night - the topic was managing stress. It was good although there were just four of us this time. I shared about delaying our adoption plans and how I thought there was some grief around that. Sure enough...4 Comments -

okay so today is day one and I feel we have done this before, this month will be different due to money...We will not be able to do an ultrasound scan and we cannot have an IUI done,we will try it naturally.I will do the clomid days 3-5 then days 5-14 I will be on dexamethasone and then do the LH testing and Day 21 they will check blood work to check progesterone levels to see if I ovulated.Any s...1 Recommendation -

Went to my dr for a progestrone serum test. I guess it will see if I have enough progestrone to sustain a pregnancy. I should get the results back tomorrow. We are hoping for a number higher than 15.
This weekend I will take a home ptest or a blood test from the dr to see if DH and I are expecting. now it's just the waiting game!2 Comments -

Enjoying being something other than an infertile woman! Life continues to be pretty jam-packed this end. I feel like I am racing from one thing to the next. In some ways I have been enjoying being busy and feeling fulfilled after the painful, empty days of SIF. In other ways I'd like to just stop and breathe for a minute!!

Doctor will call today to tell me what time to take the Ovidrel shot for my retrieval on Tuesday. He lowered my Follistim dose down to 75 from 150 last night because my Estrogen levels were too high - makes me nervous. My start dose was 225 then to 150 and now 75.
