" When my daughter started wearing the brace, we started out with short time frames and gradually built up to the longer periods of time. It took a week or two to build up to those long hours. She eventually wore it up to 18-20 hours a day. Try positioning yourself on your side and put pillows in front of you and between your legs to give you support.
Hope this helps and don't give up.

" Not so much advice as question...I am wondering it the brace has improved since those days when my precious Daughter had to endure it. It was like a body cast. She had to wear it 23 hrs a day, and only time off for bathing.

Makes me want to cry just thinking about it. Trying to find clothes for her to wear over that brace was such a struggle. And an expence! Well worth it, for her. "

" Thanks! I will try sleeping on my side tonight and the pillows too. The brace today is a lot better than the body cast. It Starts under my armpits and goes down to my hips. It's probably not as horrible as it was....but it still hurts :( Thanks again for the advice! "

" So sorry! I did not intend to imply, IN ANY WAY that your brace would be any better (or easier) these many years later. I know you are very uncomfortable and hope you can find some relief. I pray you will find a sleep position that works for you.

Many Hugs!! "
