" I would recommend Dr. Richard Burt who is doing a clinical study at Northwestern University Hospital in Chicago. He treats many auto immune diseases, not just scleroderma but he is one of the most progressive Doctors that has treated my daughter. What type of scerloderma do you have? diffuse, limited?
Here is a link to his work

" Hi hope that I got you before you decided on anything. I am in the end stages of my disease and I am going to need a double lung transplant. I was refered to a place in Denver, Colorodo called National Jewish Medical Center. They do extensive testing and are very thourough. They are kindest people and they specialize in autoimmune diseases. "

" Go check out the scleroderma clinical trials consortium at:
http://sctc-online.org/usa.htm#maryland . Even if you do not decide to go with a clinical trial, at one of these places at least you can find a doctor specializing in scleroderma! "

" I go to the Johns Hopkins Scleroderma Center. I think they see more scleroderma patients, probably, than anyone else. They try to limit their practice to scleroderma only, and have at least a couple thousand scleroderma patients.. Dr. Fredrick Wigley is the head doctor there, I think, and he's put together a team of specialists that covers not just rheumatology, but also dermatology, pulmonology, cardiology, gastroenterology, and much more. You will get very thorough, coordinated care there. "
