Ok So I have had sciatic problems for several years..due to a ruptured L5 nearly ripping my sciatic nerve..and now I am pregnant..
So what happens now? I am not under any medical treatment for my pain issues..and not on meds. I dont like them. I am concerned they will put me on bed rest..but laying in bed has always made me worse..my first obgyn appoint isn't for another 2 months.. How would you deal?????. Posted on 06/07/09, 03:06 am |

when i was pregnant with my youngest, i got off all the painkillers and they said possibly i need to be put on bed rest.
I took over the counter painkillers twice during the pregnancy. Try not to gain a lot of weight helps.

get a pillow called a snoogle so when yu feel like resting or at night to sleep can do it comfortably. It also helps support your belly so that less strain is on your back. During my pregnancy I had to wear a special back brace and that helped
