I've had this twice now, for a few months each time, well this is what i've been told it is. Except, they often say that "I can't have it because of my age", they said especially because i'm under 20.... :/
How old were you when it first started? lol. Posted on 05/15/09, 07:05 pm |

I have heard that so much by my doctors, it's your age, thats stopping you from getting the right treatment.
I started chronicpain when i was 19 years old and now i am 32 years old.

I've had this pretty much all my life. Age doesn't matter. It's the trauma to the nerve that causes it.

Thats BS, I was 18 years old with sciatica, DDD, and spinal stonosis. Now ten years later I just had my second surgery to remove another disk. I guess normally it's something older people go through but not me.
Big hugs, Lovely

I've been suffering from sciatica since I was about 14 years old and has continuously gotten worse. I'm 24 now. Many doctors say it's a condition that affects older people and pregnant women. There are, however, significant amounts of young people with sciatica which disproves that. So don't take that as an answer from a doctor.
