Rise and Recover is an online support community, which has been set up to help people who have mental health issues, are survivors of abuse and rape and have been victims of bullying. We are a real community, where members can come together to build long lasting friendships in their journey to healing. Rise and Recover welcomes everyone from across the globe, no matter what your sex or race is, you are always welcome and we offer our hand is support to everyone. We hope for Rise and Recover to grow into a safe community and into a family.
Our Aims We are a recovery based site, to which we aim to help people to help themselves with recovering from their issues. We want poeple to understand that although they have these issues, that these issues do not need to hold them back from achieving anything they want to do in life. Although we offer support on our forums for issues members are experiencing at the moment, we aim to give them enough information through the website and forums to help them to take the steps they need to recover and lead a good life. We aim to do this by: Providing a website and forums where people can come and read information. Using our own experiences to help others. Encourage people to take the steps they need to recover. Help people to achieve anything they want in life. Provide links to other organisations which might be of help. Our Hopes To reduce the stigma surrounding mental health, abuse and self harm. Everybody using Rise and Recover are able to recover and lead a good life. Help raise awareness of the issues our members are experiencing. |
