Hi Everyone,
I am new to the site as well as new to sacoidosis. I learned of the diagnosis last week from my opthalmologist. I started going to the ophthalmologist because of high levels of eye pressure and an eye infection. I was treated for the eye infection and was check for the pressure on a monthly basis. When i went back for a check up the doctor found granulomas in my eyes and began testing me for Sacoidosis. I am waiting for all of the test results to come back. I am on Pred-forte. I am not sure where to start and what to do first very confused at this point Posted on 09/09/09, 04:09 pm |

Hi. I am sure you will through several other tests to see if you have sarcoid lesions or granulomas in other parts of your body. And while that is scary, please keep in mind that most of us who know we have sarcoidosis have had it and lived with it for many years. So that is always a positive thought! You can live a healthy, full and productive life but we have to each learn what our body's can take and what they can't. Everyone is different, every body is different.
I just recently found this site myself and look forward to sharing journeys with you and everyone else here. Just knowing this group is here and has something in common with me is a positive influence for me. I hope it is a help to you as well. Good luck and stay positive!
