My Son Dakota came home from the hospital 2 weeks ago tomorrow and he is doing ok. he is missing a piece of the cromosone 16 and has a lot wrong with him, not for sure of the name of the cromosone problem. He is 3 months old today and still doing good, he is a fighter. I have a special needs child, who is still in the hospital, he is 5 weeks old now, and I want to be able to stay home and take care of him instead of working, I've been trying to find resources to be able to afford quitting my job, but still haven't found anything. I just can't see sending him to a babysitter with all his problems, I wish I knew what to do.1 Recommendation

Rubinstein-Taybi Syndrome Information
Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome (also known as Broad Thumb-Hallux syndrome) is a condition characterized by short stature, moderate to severe mental retardation, distinctive facial features, and broad thumbs and first toes. Other features of the disorder vary among affected individuals. People with this condition have an increased risk of developing noncancerous and cancerous tumors, leukemia, and lymphoma. This condition is inherited in an autosomal dominant pattern and is uncommon occurring in an estimated 1 in 125,000 births.
