Hi MarineMom,
I haven't tried that product yet and I do like Clinique so I may look into it. For the most part, I have tried many other things and some are made for us with Rosacea but they don't all work for me. So who knows this may be the thing I need. I will let you know how it works out for me. Good luck with it yourself. Have a great day and take good care. Karasal

Hi,
Thank you for the tip! I just purchased the cleansing cream-gel, moisture cream and the green tinted powder today. I will let you know how it goes. I bought it from Nordstroms, and what is nice is they will take it back if it doesn't work for me. I am new to Rosacea and skin problems in general, and right now I have a row of really large pimples all over my jawline, too. Does anyone know how to get rid of those? I always had "peaches and cream" crystal clear skin before, and now its terrible and it really makes me feel like hiding. i just don't know what to do with this skin. If this doesn't work, I think I may go get everything lasered off. Thank you, Hannah

I used the face wash and the lotion last night before I went to bed and I woke up with skin that is much more calm this morning. I will keep trying this and see how it goes. Thanks, again for the tip on this! I have not known what to do with myself.
Hugs, Hannah

i think I like this system, but it is not totally getting rid of all of my breakouts, though my skin has really improved and the face wash feels really good. It has been really hot where I am, and my skin goes crazy when it is hot out. The moisturizer is a little heavy for me, so I am trying to apply it lightly to areas where I am most affected.
For my large pimples on my chin and forehead, I started using a powder from Bare minerals, called "Rare minerals" skin revival system. I got a sample from the Bare minerals store. I am putting that powder on my large pimples, and it is working nicely. It covers them up, too. I hate having skin problems. Hannah

I hear ya, Hannah!! The Summer heat is awful on my skin!! I'm just grateful I'm not in Afghanistan, where the average daily temp is 130, and it's humid!!

I just went out and bought the Clinique system and am looking forward to trying it for the first time tonight!
I have been using Bare Minerals for a couple of years now, and it has really helped my breakouts. It also covers the redness better than anything else I've ever tried. Although the Bare Minerals has helped with actual breakouts, I still get the overall redness. I start out looking pretty good in the morning, but by the end of a long work day, am pretty red all over. Sometimes I toss cool water or hold ice on my face, as it is hot to the touch. I used to use metrogel a long time ago, but don't remember it working real well for me. I took a course of Doxycycline for a couple of months, and that really helped. I guess I should try that again. I've had laser twice for the little blood vessels, and it helped both times for a while...however...they do come back over time! It is really nice being able to talk to others and find out what works!

P.S. ...concerning Summer....people have come up to me multiple times and made comments about my "sunburn"....LOL....I just let them think that as it is less embarrassing than explaining about rosacea....

Thanks, ladies! it is really nice to have people who understand, and it is great to get tips. I have not been to the dermatologist yet, so I have not yet tried doxycycline, but am going to see a doctor soon, and will ask them for it to try.
You know what I really hate? Going shopping for stuff for my face, and feeling scrutinized by the sales ladies. I never had acne in my youth, and just didn't know what to do with myself. People just assume that I never wash my face, and it is so embarrassing. I am glad that the Clinique is helping but I would love to have my old, clear, peaches and cream skin again. I am not quite there yet.

I've used the Clinique face wash and cream that came in the kit I bought for 3 days. This morning my face seemed extra red for just waking up....I'm going to try it a few more days. My skin feels nice and soft, so I like that part. I'll give it a bit more time to see if I think it is causing increased redness or not!
