Hi, I am finding things very difficult at the moment I have been told I may have rosacea....and have been give metroniazole gel and oral tetracylcline. I have flushed cheeks and some red spots some of which seem to contain a white fluid but don't get blushing sensations and my forehead and chin are clear. My cheeks do feel hot and sting at times and I just don't know what to do. I am getting married in 6 weeks and don't know whether to stop using the gel as I am finding it drying whether to apply sun screen or buy make up in an attempt to cover it up. I do suffer with mild acne too. At the moment I just feel everyone is looking at me and I feel very alone. Sorry to moan but I feel very down. Jules

Keep taking your meds and the gel.
It just takes time to work.I have the gel and antibiotics also and I use moisturiser.I have foundation that has sunscreen in it. The tetracycline will help with the acne. Look into getting a make -up that will cover the rosacea if it has not cleared up by your wedding. Make-up artists also have some tricks to cover up marks. Good luck. lynne

I am so sorry to hear that. Actually I am in scared some days before,I've always had pink undertones in my skin but recently they've become a lot more pronounced. So much so that even if I pile on makeup you can still see it coming through. I'm becoming more and more afraid that it's rosacea like all the others. And I search all the relevant information on the internet. And I get a clear picture of what Is Rosacea? What Causes Rosacea? via the article in http://rosacea.dormitory.com and I have get a clear picture of this sickness and am sure I am not suffer it.
I hope it can be useful for you. Good luck and best wishes!
