Being from a military family...I thank you. Our men & women in the armed forces need to know that, no matter what our condition, we stand beside them with our thoughts and prayers

I say a prayer every day for our troops. I am from a military family of Air Force, Navy Army and My daughter's boyfriend is a Marine. Even if you aren't pro military, all of those troops were someone's son,daughter, mother, father or sibling. my favorite quote is "If you won't stand behind our troops, feel free to stand in front of them."

I do not come from a military background, although I do have a close friend whose son is enlisted, and is expecting deployment overseas in January. I pray for the safety and well being of every man and woman willing to wear a uniform, face combat to protect this country, and put their lives on the line every single day. To all those with family in the military please be assured even those of us who oppose these wars NEVER wains from those brave enough to serve.

Marcia - you are so right. I spent enough time in JAG and Monterey to get to know people in the military and while I don't support the war, I certainly support the people.

this is a good idea. we need to support and mourn our soldiers. with out them, we could be a russia or some other country that does not have freedoms.. we have no idea how lucky we REALLY are!!!
