Not to beat a dead horse, but I thought it was time for some more Fun around here. Not that the Swine Flu is anything to joke around about, but I just got the vaccination this morning and wanted to start a pool (well, fake bets - you know).
What's your prediction? I will NOT get the Swine Flu I will get some kind of flu, just not that one I WILL get the Swine Flu I will get the Swine Flu AND another type of flu (hint - I didn't get the regular shot this year) What does the Winner get? I predict I will not get the Swine Flu, but will get some kind of flu.

I want to say that I predict that I will stay perfectly healthy. However, I feel that would be jinxing myself. So, I will go with..I will get some kind of flu, just not that one. I haven't gotten the vaccine yet, but I will get it as soon as I get the chance.

I got both shots too so I'm with Sandy & Jess... won't get either of them. I've got one finger crossed so that you don't get a regular flu!
But you do know, that becuase you didn't get the regular shot.... it would just figure that you will get the flu! Let's hope not!

Well, LynnR, I got my very first regular flu shot last year, and Got the flu! About a month after I came down with the worst flu of my life, ever.
By-the-way, did you get a headache and feel nauseous after your h1n1 vaccination?

The only symptoms I had after the H1N1 shot was a sore arm.

I HOPE I don't get either flu... I got the H1n1 vaccine and seasonal flu vaccine. I didn't feel nauseous or get a headache after the shot. Usually after the seasonal flu shot I don't feel well that day, but am fine the next. BTW, my 12 year old son caught the swine flu about a month ago. I was sanitzing absolutely everything in the house and wearing a mask! He was better in about a week.

There are a bunch of different flu strains flying about, and sometimes, your body won't produce the necessary antibodies to stop live viruses. I'm hoping you get nothing, B, so I'll let that be my prediction.
