Has anybody had chest pain?

I've been having this tightness in my chest lately. It's not totally debilitating but annoying and it hindering me from doing what I need to do. For example, I stayed home from grad class last night because I just felt awful. I decided to stay home today as well.
I have been under a lot of stress with classes, work and single mommyness.
I have some significant seasonal allergies right now, feel like my lungs are itchy if that makes any sense and have a rash on my arms.
I also have fibromyalgia (gee....we just seem to get more stuff don't we?) so I wonder if this is a combination type thing.
Of course my fear is inflammation in the lining of my heart.
I called to get a nurse assessment this a.m. and she felt that my symptoms were not a heart attack so I'm going in tomorrow as she did insist that I needed to be seen.
Has anyone had this happen to them?

" I had severe chest pain at the beginning which they thought was caused by pluerisy. Being under a lot of stress probably doesn't help. I hope you feel better soon. Try and take it easy. "

" Funny you should mention that, I do have some chest tightening too. It is always right in the center between the boobs and off to the right. Its just annoying cause you feel it but not really painful and it fades away and won't see it for a while and back again. Some one when I had the FM real bad said it was ligaments and all flaring, I guess I should ask when I go to the dr. today. My husband use to get pluerisy all the time but he was in really bad pain and couldn't move without pain. Killed him to cough.

Well, hope you are feeling better. I use to say when the FM was around, (left when RA came in) I had so many aches and pains and wondered if I would notice something really bad cause I blamed everything on the FM. "

" Update: My doctor thinks it's a combination of R.A. flare, Fibromyalgia flare and significant seasonal allergies rolled into one big mess. The migraines were part of her diagnosis. Probably stress related so now I'm on heavy muscle relaxers, migraine meds, Singulair and Xanax for anxiety. Thank you all again for your responses and help!
Anyway....................it's always something, right? "
