Well I saw my MD and my rheumatologist today. Both were extremely suprised by the MRI results.
Neither one had a clue as to what caused it or why I have it. My MD does think it is Adult Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus. They both think I am a mystery though still and they are deeply concerned. I still have to wait until Nov. 23rd to see a neurologist, that was the soonest appt. they had. BOOOO! Alaska doesn't have very many specialists, so there is always a long wait to see them. UGGGHH. My MD told if ANYTHING goes bad between now and then to go straight to the ER or call him and he will call the Neurologist himself to get me seen or at least treated ASAP. So I will keep you all posted, and let you know what I learn on the 23rd. THanks for all the support you guys!!! Posted on 11/02/09, 10:11 pm |

Hi Dawn! Sorry I have not been around been taking care of my grandson for a few days, sorry to hear about the mri results, Im glade they cought it ,did they say what the neurologist will due? Your Dr appt was today right with Dr.Tan mine was suppose to be today too but had to move it till this Friday , do you know anything about noduals in the lungs? they did x-rays today thats what it showed all so some bones erosion in my hand now it was'nt there last April. My daughter has had several shunt replacements in her life due o hydroocephalus but hopefully you wont need one, she always gets a hair cut before surgery, they use to shave half of her head, but they dont do that anymore just a small area. So keep your head up its going to be all right. Your Friend in Alaska... Marie
