Hi all and welcome newbies!
I hope today is a good day. Well, I am back from my first plane trip since being dx. It went well, I had a wonderful time in New England and was thankful all the way that those thoughts of never being able to do my "things" again were replaced with I can do it and did it and it was great. Went to the Rheumy before I left and things looked great on all my tests from the visit before and then had some blood work taken and two days later got a call while on my trip that I needed to call the office because I had a problem with the tests, that was a sleepless night. I was so afraid My liver showed damage fromt he meds or something. When I called was so happy that it was my vit D level again, last year it was 11 and now 19 so had to go back on 50,000 mg of vit D again. Told my husband this just means he has to take me to sunny places all through our dolrum winters to help keep my level up. This seems to be a problem for me and it does give you pain so have to really work on it. But everything else is A-1 so happy. My right hand gives me a problem off and on but when I get down about it I always think of Doug here sending me that picture of Capt. Hook saying you could have this and it makes me smile and move on. I always thank you for that Doug. Got through my daughters engagement party cooking and making her cake and having guests so this week it's take it easy. I did get my regular flu shot for the first time and that went well and now when available have to think about the H1N1 shot. My son's step daughter has that flu now. And it really took her down, she is 17. Still home with it. Hope you all have a good week! Renee Posted on 10/21/09, 09:10 am |

Glad you had a great time, we can't let this disease take over our Joy. My Sister in law also just got back from New England and she said it was beautiful to see the color in the Trees. She missed the Snow.

Oh how I miss New England, I lived just outside of Boston and would travel to New Hampshire every year to see the leaves. Now I live at the foot of a mountain in Georgia, but it's not as pretty (sigh)
Glad you enjoyed your trip,.....and stay away from the person with the swine flu! I got it and it took me down as well. I take Enbrel so when I got I "got it".
