Okay short of dropping ice cubes in my underwear and having an IV to drip coffee into me constantly to keep me awake the fatigue is really doing a number on me. My joints are feeling fairly good for me so I am slightly annoyed the fatigue is cutting into my "good" joint days.
What do you guys do to perk yourself up? Even if it only lasts for 5 minutes. LOL And please don't say take a nap! Posted on 06/27/09, 09:06 pm |

B-100. My pharmacist told me that this Vitamin will give you all the energy back that you lost.I have been taking B-12 and she said it can alter your blood if you don't really need it and to switch to B-100. That is a good B-vitamin it has all the b's in there that you need.

Let me see if I got my summary right - keep me honest folks as I found I fell asleep - I kid you not on the toilet the other day while "processing". It was just a quick nap but does make me wonder...
1) check to see if I'm anemic 2) pinch yourself, sing, and drive with the windows down 3) pop a few dark chocolate sour cherries so I can get enough energy to haul myself to the gym for gentle exercise and take a shower 4) If not scarred of sucralose Rockstar drinks and no matter what a multivitamin with CoenzymeQ10 5) take "me" kids for a walk (say can I borrow yours I have no children - although the hubby can act childish at times - would he count?) 6) B-100! 7) take the dogs for a short walk (hey I have no dogs and my ferrets are soooo not leash trained - once again would a husband work for this? He does proclaim I keep him on a short leash at times! LOL) 8) send your kids back to school so you can get a decent nap! Not a bad list at all. Looks like a we can group a bunch into moving in some form huh? Then we got some other interesting ones.... Thanks folks. Somethimes when I'm tired I can't think of ideas. Keep the ideas coming as I'll forget these right after my nap (well maybe not the cherries one)!

LOL! Smith101, you are TOO funny!!! I would have said "ROFL" instead of "LOL," but I can't get down on the floor or back up again, much less roll around!
Okay, going to take my Ambien CR (which works for maybe 4 hours) and start fighting with my pillows and sheets. Tomorrow I'll be looking for CHOCOLATE! Caysea

Smith101 have you had your vitamin D levels check up?
Mine were really low when my dr first check them (around the time I was also diagnosed with RA). Like you, I was falling asleep anywhere I could. On a scale of 1 to 10, my energy level was a minus 3!!! I had never felt so tired in my whole life. Please add it to your list of things to do/check. BTW, you are very funny!

Hey guys,
I was listening to the radio yesterday and this guy selling a product which I won't buy because I hate businesses that lock you into automatic purchasing....anyway he had created a blend with Vitamin B5. Me, not knowing what vitamin B5 was, looked it up! I read on Wikipedia that it especially helps with morning stiffness for people with Rheumatoid arthritis and it helps with energy, eczema, etc. etc. There is much more research that I need to do on this vitamin but if it helps with energy and morning stiffness, then great!! I will let you guys know what information I find. I'll probably look for a blend as well because I know some vitamins including this one, rely on other vitamins for absorption. If anyone has any info on this, please let me know! Thanks! hugs, Sarah

I had to respond because I'm really liking the Coffee IV drip, yah baby! I'm sorry to say I have started taking a nap in the afternoon with my granddaughter of course it's all for her, she needs my help to fall asleep....yah sure.
But all kidding aside, it is important to check for Anemia because it frequently hangs out with RA, really. Make sure you get some red meat in your diet - I'm severly anemic and my doc actually told me to get more meat in my diet - so much for all that chicken I've been eating, lol. Take care, oh where do I get that IV coffee dispenser - gives a whole new meaning to automatic drip...ba dump bump, ching!
