leflunomide, anyone?

has anyone taken leflunomide and could you tell me anything about it? like, did it work or not work, what were your side effects from it? i was on mtx but got really ill from it and had to be taken off it.
all i keep finding on the net is just basic stuff about leflunomide, nothing that really helps me understand it. thanks! v Posted on 11/26/08, 03:11 pm |

Hi civansita,
Arava is another name for levflunamide. I was on it for awhile, and the biggest thing to worry about is your liver. It is hepatoxic. so your doctor should closely monitor your liver enzymes while you are on it. I want to tell you about something that is helping not only RA, but other conditions I have had and still have. It is mangosteen, a natural east-asian fruit juice.
