Have you guys tried these? I just put on my first one and I really like it. It's thin enough that I can sew with it on.

There is a way to cheat with these!!
#1 I use the wrap part more than once. You can buy "hot hands" in the camping asile of Wal-mart for less than a dollar a pop! Cheap re-fills! #2 I made rice pouches that I re-heat. Basically, I used cotton fabric to sew a miniature pillow the size of the heat pack. I filled it with rice, sewed it shut, pop it in the micro for 20 secs and there ya go, reusable! I made mine with a little thumb loop to heat around my thumb as well, (But I am a seamstress by trade and develop my own patterns, so that might be a little to deep for some.) I like to sew rice packs for myself in all shapes and sizes. They really help and are simple to make. Even a non-sewer can sew a pouch- who cares if it's a little uneven- it gets the job done, right?

heat compresses and those wraps sometimes work but for me they were all just a temporary way to relieve my arthritic hands. the one thing that worked for me was using this - it's all natural and i started feeling some real reliefe in about 3 weeks?

I have used them - they're wonderful, particularly in the winter time. I tend to use icy hot more often for temporary relief. Usually before bed time..beware, if you have a psycho kitty like I do, they LOVE the menthol, and I don't think it's good for them. I usually shut the door on the nights i use it.

Hi Rissa! How are you doing?
I did the rice socks for years, but now that I have RA, the rice is too heavy. So, I started using the stick-on kind like giant bandaids. But they won't stay on in the summer since it's hot - and sweatiness disolves the glue. I will try the gloves as soon as the summer ends - we are really hot hear now. Hey - when does summer end? I have been here for 12 years now? Hahaha.

Hey, arthritis warrior! I'm doing very well, thanx!!
Speaking of icy hot, any of you use tiger balm as a rub? I love that stuff! I hate that the strong stuff is red, though.

I love these as well. I have used the sticky ones on my back before also.
Hardly a day goes by that I don't fantasize about wrapping my wrists in these things. Too expensive to do that though. My dh rubs me down in Biofreeze or whatever we have on hand, though, so at least I get a gentle massage out of it. :-)
