Discussion:
Is it Retts?

My beautiful daughter is nearly 5 months old. I'm concerned she has Retts.

She was born with heart arrythima (SVT), has severe reflux and poor circulation. Since 8 weeks her weight gain has been very poor. Most concerningly, her head growth has greatly reduced since 8 weeks too.

Development is OK (so far) but I know it's early.

Should I push for a blood test? Did anyone's little one have early symptoms?

Many thanks

" My daughter has Rett Syndrome, we did not have signs until 9 months, each child is so different, follow your gut and heart. Talk with your pedi and tell them your concerns. Take care. "

" We were told our daughter had it at 6 months old. She had all different signs for other stuff but, the ran this test due to she was rolling over and then stopped. She also had to head support. "
