My eye issues are from being born premature back in the early 1960's when the medical professionals didn't know to cover the babies eyes to protect the premature infants from the Oxygen they were given in the incubators, which eventually caused some 38 yrs later the bigging of eye problems.
1998 - Cataract in Left eye, Cataract removed. 2000- Left eye Detached Retna. Outpatient procedure UC San Diego Clinic - Cryotherapy. (Prior to the procedure I drove myself to work, could see to work on my comptuer. Day after surgery could not see the big E on the wall at the post op appt. Liquid Nitrogen Tanks Empty. One week follow up for procedure now being done at a outpatient facility. One month post op, Vision totaly gone in left eye. 4 mos later, meeting with a specialist, determined I would be perm blind in this eye, Light sensitvity only. 2005- Left eye developing strambismus, Eye floating, doesn't no where to focus. 2007- Right Eye Successful Cataract Surgery 2008 - Left eye, Tightening of the eye muscle to stop the floating and affix the eye to center.
